The Town Of Iron Bridge
The town of Iron Bridge, which hosted the 2007 National, is located on the north shore of Lake Huron within a 1-1/2 hour drive from the City of Sault Ste. Marie and a 2 hour drive from the City of Sudbury. Iron Bridge, Blind River and Thessalon are a 10-30 min drive from the trial grounds and have plenty of accommodation to meet the needs of a National. September is a beautiful month in Northern Ontario,with warm fall days in the mid 60's F, cool nights and no black flies or mosquitoes. Outstanding hunting and fishing is available.
Compete in the National and stay on to enjoy duck, goose, grouse and bear season. If hunting is not your thing, drop a line in some of the best fishing waters in the north. Pike, pickerel, trout and salmon, are as close as the nearest lake or stream. ATV trips and trails are just down the road. The first touch of colour will appear across the hardwood ridges and you can enjoy nine holes on two top notch golf courses
